Since the hammer energy determines the velocity of test, the vice required and the specimen supports should be chosen based on the specimen size.REQUEST A QUOTE OR DEMO
Main Features and Benefits
All Vices are made of sturdy cast iron vices for incomparable rigidity
Quick change sliding mechanism of the vices ensures minimal effort
Wide range of interchangeable specimen support, crossheads and jigs depending on the test type and specimen sizes
Charpy vice with two impact levels suitable for the full range of test energies and nominal impact speed of 2.9 m/s (9.5 ft/s) and 3.8 m/s (12.5 ft/s)
Charpy notch alignment device or side alignment device for un-notched specimens for accurate specimen positioning before impact
IZOD built-in notch reference for accurate specimen positioning before impact
Some plastics are sensitive to clamping pressure. Differences in clamping pressure - between tests and/or operators - will reduce results repeatability. IZOD vice with manual or pneumatic adjustable clamping force from 50 to 150 N
