Frequency Response

Bandwidth.  1) Frequency response describes a device's ability to accurately reproduce, at its output, signals which appear at its input. It is a way to evaluate the amplitude of the signal with respect to the frequency of the signal.  2) The frequency range over which signals are reproduced within a specific amplitude range. The frequency response of the human ear, for instance, is from about 20 to 20,000 hertz (Hz).
