W-1183-H | Fixture for 6 in Sulfur Cap Cylinders
Fixture for testing 6 in x 12 in Sulfur Cap Cylinders on the 600RD in accordance with ASTM C-39 and AASHTO T-22.
- 6.5 in diameter by 9 in long spherically seated compression platen assembly with scribed concentric circles of 3 in, 4.25 in, and 6.25 in diameters. Platen has an RC-60 hardness and is flat within 0.0005 in in any 6 in direction. Platen has freedom to tilt 4 degrees in all directions.
- Requires one 4 in thick spacer. (9 in diameter x 4 in thick, included with machine purchase.)
- 12.5 in maximum usable vertical test opening with fixture in place.
Fixture mounts in frame with a holding stem and set screw assembly.
