運動用球充氣壓力影響的動態調查分析
在充滿活力舞台的運動技術和運動工程,工程師們要特別注意到在用具能量的儲存及損失。充氣(和固體)球的恢復係數常是描述球與硬板間相互作用的影響。謹慎的選擇材料、結構、充氣壓力可達到合適的動態特性。在球離開工廠後,材料及結構保持相對一致,但內部壓力留給了收到相關建議的運動員全權處理。有一項研究進行了在過度及不足壓力間的關係觀察和在各種程度變形的能量損耗。
ElectroPuls™ E3000 配備了輕量級壓縮板,用來壓縮整顆球。在上述研究中,許多不同類型的球都進行了測試(足球、排球、五人制足球、籃網球、排球、韻律體操),籃球的結果在以下呈現。每顆球循環的在恆定頻率下被壓縮,初始位移為 5 mm 左右的平均幅度水平,然後我們再以 5 mm 做循序遞增。此動作與數位編碼器控制在 WaveMatrix™ 動態測試軟體中做了規定。每個球進行三項壓力測試:
- 「nominal」壓力指的是在球指定範圍中間處
- Under-pressure 比 nominal 少25%
- Over-pressure 比 nominal 多25%
力-位移曲線取自每個初始位移的最後週期(第20個)。數值積分負載及卸載曲線的不同指出了在每個壓縮循環的能量損失。此圖示在各個週期顯示了能量損失對於導入到系統的能量比。比較粗的線相對有較高的能量損失。
適當充氣的球(由綠色線條代表)損失最少三個增壓測試能源。充氣不足球的較高能量損失可能歸因於在彎曲和球面變形(環應變)之間的相互作用。在高壓下,球基本上是預載的且面板經歷更高範圍的壓力,也許離開了彈性區。就超彈性材料來說,在更高的壓力下失去更多的能量是毫不奇怪的。全球動態壓縮測試在運動用球內部壓力的角色上提供了洞察力。像這樣的靈敏研究有助於量化全世界球的活動狀態,並建議進一步的新領域研究。
