Instron’s corporate headquarters in Norwood, Massachusetts is home to our static testing system manufacturing facility and one of the most well-equipped applications labs in the materials testing industry. Training courses held at Norwood take place in a fully equipped classroom with direct access to live Instron systems, giving students a hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom. Visitors also have the opportunity to tour the facility and see our primary deadweight force calibration stack — one of the most accurate force references in the world — which underpins the traceable calibrations performed by Instron Field Service Engineers globally.
