20 KN 3-Point and 4-Point Bend Fixture – 2810‑500/505
The 3-Point bend fixture is designed to easily provide the capability of a 3-point flexure test; it is suitable for both Dynamic & Static testing. The specimen is supported on two lower anvils and the load is applied in the centre of the specimen by a single upper anvil. The fixture has a variable span from 18 – 148 mm (0.7 – 5.82 in). The lower part is fitted to the load cell, which should be base-mounted, and the upper part is fitted to the actuator via a flange attachment.

High-Temperature Extensometers | CP118413
The Instron range of High-Temperature Extensometers are ideally suited for testing materials such as advanced composites, metals, and polymers at elevated temperatures. This series incorporates a capacitive sensor that does not require any cooling. 2701 221 Specimen Holder
he combined specimen holder and specimen alignment device (patent pending) is an optional item for 2712-04X pneumatic side-action grips. The spring-loaded grippers hold the specimen while the operator closes the grips prior to starting the test. This avoids the pinch hazard associated with manually holding the specimen near the jaw faces during grip closure. SVE 2 | Non-Contacting Video Extensometer Data Sheet
While contacting extensometers offer accurate strain measurement, they can have an adverse effect on results due to influence or slippage on the specimen by knife edges, damage to the specimen at break, or wear of moving parts. As a result, Instron® introduced the first commercial video extensometer in 1991. The newest Standard Video Extensometer (SVE 2) is a high-performance, non-contacting extensometer that is ideally suited for everyday applications such as rubber, soft plastics, elastomers and other materials with high strain to failure. Additionally, the SVE 2 is available with various Fields of View (FOV) that suit applications in both ambient and non-ambient temperature conditions.
