In this video, we discuss the importance of regularly cleaning your grips to avoid specimen slippage and ensure accurate test results. Proper cleaning will ensure your grips are free of oil, residue, and debris and will increase frictional contact with your specimens.
Always remember to power down your equipment before cleaning it. Before applying a cleaner, spot-check it on each surface to ensure compatibility. Do not spray disinfectant or cleaning products directly onto the equipment, but instead use wet wipes or dampened cloths and wipe down any excess moisture after cleaning. Always use caution not to wet or dampen any electronic components.
