CrashSim Software
CrashSim® software is used for the preparation, execution, monitoring, analysis, and documentation of crash tests carried out on the Instron crash simulation sled system. This application-focused software has been continuously improved in cooperation with our worldwide user groups.
No special knowledge is required to operate CrashSim software, as it is intuitive and largely self-explanatory. The user interface is compatible with Microsoft® Windows 11.
The parameter settings and valve configurations required for the applications below are stored in the control system and set automatically by CrashSim software when a test method is selected:
- Frontal and rear impact simulation
- Frontal impact with actively controlled pitch simulation
- Side and pole impact simulation
- Side impact simulation
- Whiplash (low-speed rear impact) testing
This high degree of automation ensures efficient, productive test operation.
