Instron's calibration laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) under Laboratory Code 200301-0. This accreditation also covers our worldwide field operations, excluding Brazil.

Instron previously held two separate NVLAP accreditations (lab codes 200301-0 and 105023-0). These have been consolidated into a single certificate under lab code 200301-0, covering all Instron calibration facilities worldwide. Our NVLAP accreditation also covers CEAST product verifications, previously accredited by A2LA.
The Signatory List of individuals qualified to perform ISO/IEC 17025 calibrations is available upon request.

Bengaluru, India (Bangalore)
Instron's Bengaluru facility (ITW India Private Limited, formerly BISS (P) Ltd) is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 in the field of calibration and testing, and accredited to Nadcap in non-metallic materials testing.
Brazil
The field operations in Brazil are accredited to ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025 by Cgcre/Inmetro (CAL # 197).
CE Statements
To fulfill the conformity requirements for CE marking across our wide product range, Instron uses three main directives: the Machinery Directive, the Low Voltage Directive, and the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive.
Codes of Federal Regulations (CFR)
The 10 CFR §21 & §50 Appendix B Statement provides information on Instron's calibration certificate and our compliance with Codes of Federal Regulations applicable to nuclear industry applications.
FDA Compliance
The FDA Compliance Statement provides information about how to integrate Instron's products according to 21 CFR § 820, 21 CFR § 11, ISO 13485:2003, and IQ/OQ/PQ requirements.
DEKRA Accreditation
Instron Structural Testing Systems is accredited by DEKRA under the EU Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU to conduct design examinations on Instron cylinders and accumulators.

Certificate of Conformance — Bluehill® Materials Testing Software
Instron develops and maintains Bluehill materials testing software — including Bluehill Universal, Bluehill Elements, and Bluehill Central — using a professional development and testing process in accordance with the requirements of Instron's ISO 9001 certification.
Bluehill Universal Calculation Test Suite
The Bluehill Universal Standard Calculation Test Suite compares results from the software under test with expected results using known data sets as input — verifying the accuracy and consistency of all calculation outputs.
Bluehill Elements Calculation Test Suite
The Bluehill Elements Standard Calculation Test Suite compares results from the software under test with expected results using known data sets as input — verifying the accuracy and consistency of all calculation outputs.
